데미캣이 '드디어' 내놓은 첫 번째 정규앨범 [Acceptable Range]은 매우 의미가 크다. 정규 앨범 발매 이 전부터 그는 실력 있는 DJ로 선배들의 인정을 받아왔다. 클럽 VIA의 레지던트 DJ로 묵묵히 음악을 틀며 자신의 음악적 감각과 대중들 사이의 접점을 마련하고자 노력해왔다. 그는 현재 DJ 프로젝트 밴드 'Swing Bros. (a.k.a VIA the Jam)의 키보디스트로 라이브 셋 플레이까지 보여주고 있으니, 그의 걸음 뒤에서 모든 선배 DJ들이 든든히 등을 떠밀어 주는 것은 당연한 현상일지도 모르겠다.

첫 정규 앨범 [Acceptable Range]을 관통하는 테마도 역시나 'Jazz'다. 재즈와 하우스를 넘나들며 다채롭게 펼쳐지는 12개의 트랙은 재즈나 일렉트로닉과 무관한 음악 취향을 가진 사람이라도 부담 없이 들을 수 있을 만큼 편안하고 스무드하게 흘러간다.

일곱 번째 트랙인 'Bumpin' with a Cat'은 경쾌한 하우스 트랙이다. 유연한 몸을 가진 덕에 여기저기 부딪히고, 높은 곳에서 떨어지고, 던지고 놀아도 끄떡없는 고양이와의 즐거운 '범핑'의 유희가 느껴지는 다이내믹하고 경쾌한 곡이다.

홍대 인디 신의 '휘성'라는 닉네임을 가진 '태완'의 보이스에 위트 있게 이펙트를 가해 전혀 새로운 느낌의 보컬로 재구성한 'Chemical Thang', 그리고 정원영 밴드의 보컬 '최금비'의 솔풀한 창법이 데미캣의 키보드 연주와 어우러지는 'No Botherings' 이 두 곡은 데미캣이 프로듀서로서 어떤 방식으로 보컬을 활용해 포인트를 주고 있는 지 주목해 볼 수 있는 트랙들이기도 하다. 이 외에도 [Acceptable Range]에는 디지털 싱글에 발표했던 'Last Train'의 리믹스 버전을 포함한 총 열 두곡의 트랙이 수록되어 있다.
